After how ever many dozens of weddings and talking with so many couples, one thing is pretty clear, this thing flies by so damn fast. In no time at all you’ll be reminiscing on the day that was, a beautiful ceremony and the best party you ever threw.
With a documentary style we take a minimalistic approach to keep everything as natural and authentic as possible. We’re in there for all the emotion, beautiful connection and fun you and your friends can throw at us. Your story, your day and your connection is unique and that’s the story we are gonna tell. You do you, leave the rest to us.

I also head up The Film Room; making colourful, dreamy and fun wedding films for amazing people.
My husband Luke and I were married a few years back in the Adelaide Hills, built our home as close to a wine region as was reasonable and now we continue to journey in our passions; videography for myself and photography for him.
We seriously love SA, more and more every day and we believe some of the most epic wedding locations are in our little pocket of the world. How lucky are we to have these hills, coastline and everything in between.
I absolutely love that I get to make films for people who get married here.

We have a selection of films that have proven the most popular with our clients and upon booking you will be able to request which film styles suit you best;
Short Story – Our 3-6 minute highlights film is a gorgeous and fun summary of your entire day designed to be easily shared online with family and friends. You will have seen these on our Instagram.
Feature Film – A beautifully crafted selection of the very best moments from your day. Running for approximately 20 minutes, it includes hand picked highlights from your ceremony and speeches plus a little more that may not have made the cut for the Short Story.
Ceremony or Speeches Full Edits – A little less polished than the films above, these edits are the major formalities of your day nicely edited together from beginning to end.
What kind of films will I receive?

Short Story – You’ve most likely watched one of our Short Stories on our ‘Films’ page, they are 3-6 minute highlights films and are a gorgeous summary of your day.
Feature Film – A beautifully crafted selection of the very best moments from your day. Running for approximately 20 minutes, it includes hand picked highlights from your ceremony and speeches.
Ceremony or Speeches full edit – A little raw-er than the polished films above. We of course trim out a few bits of ‘faff’ and dead air but you get to see the whole thing as if you were right back there.
Yup! My husband is a pretty amazing photographer, and I think he’s a bit of alright :)
We work great together and most people seem to love that we can get all their wedding coverage sorted as a husband & wife team.

DO you offer photography?

You can think of us like a second photographer, we will be side by side with the photographer all day recording all the little details and events that happen.
Generally our style is ‘documentary’ which means we take a backseat and film your day as spectators taking note of all the ‘happenings’ and ‘goings on’.
What can we expect from you on the day?

We absolutely love to meet all our booked couples and enquiring couples. Meetings aren’t 100% necessary but if it helps you determine if we are the right fit then we are all in.
We live near McLaren Vale and schedule all our meetings nearby due to the high volume of meeting requests we receive.
Do we need to organise a meeting with you?

Short Stories are typically available for viewing within 12-16 weeks and Feature Films within 6 months. This may be shorter or longer depending on our workload and time of year.
We are a boutique editing service and our workload can play a part in how long it takes to finalise your films.
When can I expect delivery of my films?

We make all your music selections to suit the vibe and feel of your day, your personalities and of course your footage.
We love getting some music influence from you to feel out your music taste but we take it from there.
How do you choose the music for our films?

Unfortunately, the cutting room floor just isn’t where the magic happens. Raw (unedited) footage is not available for purchase.
This is relatively standard practise throughout the industry and allows us to preserve our creativity and professionalism.
Can I purchase RAW (unedited) footage?

Yes, we have a drone, and we will likely fly it (weather, time and laws permitting) if it adds value to the vibe and feel of your films.
How about Drone, do you have one?

Not to brag, but we get A TONNE of enquires, and often for the same date, dates are only confirmed/reserved on payment of an initial booking fee (deducted from your total payment).
We normally start taking bookings for popular dates 18 months in advance, but it’s well worth checking in, even if your date is a little closer.
